The new CRC for Mental Health secured $23 million federal funding. Atholl designed the business model, helped recruit partners and ran the economic impact model. The bid involved nineteen partners with funding commitments of $100 million over seven years.

Department of Primary Industries secured $180 million for the biosciences research centre at La Trobe University Bundoora. Atholl prepared the commercialisation plan and helped present the case for funding.

Consumer Affairs Victoria secured $3 million funding to develop software to reduce the regulatory burden for Victorian business, based on a business case by Atholl.

The Victorian Minister for Innovation launched a report authored by Jim Murray for the City of Melbourne and other councils that outlines the investment and job creation opportunities from the biotech industry.

Boeing committed to support a local subsidiary company in aviation software development during an industry downturn, after a review of management and marketing by Atholl.

Origin Energy built a manufacturing plant to produce solar panels from new technology developed by Australian National University. Jim coached the management team to gain Board board approval for the $25 million investment.
